Supporting Our Journey

For any charity or community interest company to be a success, it relies on the generous support of public donations and corporate sponsorship. We believe that our expeditions, the structured sailing opportunities and all of our future plans will have an invaluable impact on people who have been through a challenging time. 



A project of this scale takes a lot of funding and in order to obtain that funding we must build the trust and support of corporate sponsors and the public. Corporate sponsors in particular will be investing significant amounts of money into the Round the World Expedition, therefore, the Round the UK race becomes incredibly important as it provides corporate sponsors and the public with the the evidence that prove that the public support the mission, message and objectives and have the confidence that the expedition will be a success. 

The biggest way the public can support this event is simply by following and interacting with our Instagram or other forms of social media. This shows investors and donors that people are interested in what we are doing and it provides brands with an idea of who is going to be watching the event, allowing them to forsea the impact the event could have on their brand. 

Any donation we receive is one step closer to the Beacon of Hope Sailing Project being able to support people in their recovery journeys, helping them to re establish confidence with-in society or relationships, supporting them on their return to employment or education or just simply providing them the time and space they need to process their experiences and move forward positively.
